Anita’s Delicious Hummus and Steak

This simple recipe is a unique and very popular Mediterranean dish. A combination of Homemade creamy Hummus topped with juicy and tender saute spiced Filet Mignon steak. Your whole family will enjoy it. Share the Love!

Ingredients

Homemade Hummus recipe (see my recipe to follow from scratch on my site)

1/2 pound Filet Mignon steak, cut in small pieces of 1 to 1/12 inches

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/3 teaspoon black pepper,, freshly ground

1/3 teaspoon granulated garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon all-spice

1/3 teaspoon cinnamon, ground

1 Tablespoon pomegranate molasses

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

2 Tablespoon olive oil, one tbsp. for frying

1 Tablespoon of butter

Preparation

  1. Use a large size pan. On medium-high heat incorporate 1 Tablespoon of Olive oil with 1 Tablespoon of butter and cook the steak pieces for about 5 minutes.
  2. Seasoned with salt, pepper, all-spice, granulated garlic, and ground cinnamon. Add pomegranate molasses and Worcestershire sauce, stir until well combined.
  3. Continue cooking steak for another 5 to 8 minutes. Serve over creamy Homemade Hummus and drizzle rest of Olive oil over Hummus. Share the Love and Enjoy!
