
Anita’s Light Teriyaki Baked Salmon
Super healthy delicious meal of fresh Orange teriyaki baked Salmon with sweet red onions over a light fluffy turmeric rice.
Ingredients
6-8 Salmon fillets with no skin on
2 large red onions, sliced into rings
1/2 cup fresh Orange juice
zest of one orange
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1/2 cup of Tamari or regular soy sauce
2 Tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon Ketchup
2 Tablespoon molasses
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup of lemon juice
pinch of salt
pinch of cayenne pepper
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400 grades Farenheit. Use a glass baking pan and put a layer of onion rounds on bottom of the pan. Place salmon filets on top.
- Use a bowl and prepare the sauce by mixing together orange juice, zest of the orange, grated ginger, molasses, ketchup, minced garlic, lemon juice and tamari sauce. Pour sauce over salmon fillets.
- Seasoned with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
- Drizzle with sesame oil. Place rest of red onions rings on top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes until salmon is cooked and flaky. Serve for dinner or lunch next to veggies and turmeric rice. Enjoy, and spread the LOVE!
