Anita’s Lighter version of Homemade Hummus

Spread the love

This is my new lighter version of making a delicious Hummus by replacing the original use of tahini, the sesame seed paste by natural Yogurt. Tangy, creamy  with extra protein and less fat. You will love it!

Ingredients

1 can -15 ounces chickpeas or garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed

1/2 cup of Plain Yogurt

2 Tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

1 small clove of garlic, grated

1 Tablespoon of filtered water

1/4 teaspoon salt

pinch of cumin

olive oil to drizzle

Preparation
  1. Incorporate all ingredients into a food processor, blend and stop at some times to scrape the sides down.
  2. Blend until smooth. Serve in a platter. Garnish with eatable veggies by adding color too. Spread the LOVE.
  3. Enjoy!
