Anita’s Refreshing Apple Cabbage Salad

Crunchy, Tangy, sweet delicious chilled served salad that will become your favorite side dish at all time.

Ingredients

1 head cabbage, cored and chopped

1/2 onion, minced

2 Granny Smith apples, diced

1 Tablespoon of apple cyder vinegar

2 Tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon of mint, dried

1 teaspoon granulated white sugar

a dash of Tabasco or any hot sauce of your choice

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Whisk in a large bowl vinegar, olive oil, sugar, minced onion, salt, pepper, and dried mint. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 minute.
  2. Add warm vinaigrette to chopped coleslaw and apples. Toss well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Remove from fridge and serve. Enjoy!
