Anita’s Delicious Crispy Halloumi Cheese Arugula Salad
A very satisfying meal just by adding crispy delicious sate halloumi to your Refreshing Salad. Sweet, tangy, and perfectly cook Halloumi cheese without any added butter or oil. Enjoy and share the LOVE!
Ingredients
1 12 ounces Halloumi cheese block, cut into squares
2-3 cups of Arugula
2 cups lettuce,
4 radishes, sliced
2 small cucumbers, diced
3-4 strawberries, diced
juice of one lemon
1 teaspoon honey Dijon mustard
1 Tablespoon of Strawberry Jam
3 Tablespoon of Olive oil
freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
- Use a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, add halloumi cheese squares in a single layer. Cook for about 3 minutes allowing water of cheese to come out. Flip cheese and cook on other side for few minutes without moving, until crispy and golden brown.
- Use a big bowl an mix together lemon juice, Dijon mustard, strawberry jam and olive oil slowly until well combined. Pour vinaigrette over lettuce, arugula, radishes, strawberries, and cucumbers. Toss well. Add sate halloumi cheese over salad. Enjoy and spread the LOVE!
Note: Halloumi cheese is salty so no extra salt needed in this salad 🙂
