Anita’s Dipped and Filled Cherries with Pistachios Cream

Fresh Cherries dipped in Chocolate, Shredded Coconut and filled with a surprise of Homemade delicious Cream of Pistachios. A perfect combination of fresh crunchy fruit with a nutty creamy heart.

Ingredients

Fresh cherries, pitted

1/2 cup sweetened coconut, shredded

Pistachio Cream (see recipe on my site)

4 ounces of White chocolate

2 drops of red food coloring

Ground pistachios

Preparation

  1. Place shredded coconut, ground pistachios in two different shallow bowls.
  2. Prepare pink chocolate by melting white chocolate over double boiler or microwave for 30 seconds.  After chocolate has melted add red food coloring and mix well. Use immediately.
  3. Fill every cherry with Pistachio Cream using a mini spoon. Dip each cherry into the melted chocolate and then roll them into shredded coconut or ground pistachios. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Keep leftovers refrigerated. Enjoy and SHARE the LOVE!
